We have undertaken extensive research and analysis of the composition of our products, assisted by the pharmacology and natural products composition department of the National University of Athens
In November 2016, when the analysis was complete, its showed some impressive results.(harvest season 2016/2017)
The levels of Oleocanthal and Oleacein present in PAMAKO single variety and PAMAKO blend, were extremely high to date in any previous research done in similar products. It should be noted that Oleacanthal and Oleacein are known for their anti-inflammatory, antioxidant,cardioprotective and neuroprotective activity.
Pamako has one of the highest,worldwide, concentration of hydroxytyrosol-tyrosol & derivatives (European regulation 432/2012) of 5mg/20gr of olive oil. A daily consumption of 4gr of our oil, is enough to protect blood lipids from oxidative stress according to this health guideline.
Certified as organic and analysed by BIOHELLAS for any chemicals, ensures that our olive oil is exactly as our ancestors produced it, pure and clean..
To maintain all the health benefits of our range of products, we use dark bottles with a mirror like external film to reflect light and stop it from affecting the quality of our oil. We also use a natural cork with a wooden finish to keep those aromas and the flavour well sealed in until the last drop.
